You can find details of forthcoming weekends here, but make sure that you read the information here before booking.

All those attending weekends away must do so through official group channels by either contacting the organiser for that particular weekend or, in their absence, the Committee Weekends Officer.

12th - 14th January 2018: Snowdonia 2018

Organiser:

Steve Rawlins & Alan Beeby

Details:

The hostel is situated in the beautiful little village of Rhyd Ddu, right in the heart of Snowdonia and on the foot on Mount Snowdon. If we're lucky the area will have a beautiful coating of Snow whilst we're there.

The plan is to offer a walk up Snowdon - we're just 2 mins from the Rhyd Ddu path but we'll also look to offer some alternative options a little further out, possibly the stunning Pen yr Ole Wen horseshoe.

Booking:

Bookings open 14:30 on Saturday 11th November at the AGM in person to Steve Rawlins. Half the total places will be available on a first come first served basis.

The remaining half will be available at 18:00 on Monday 13th November by emailing alan.beeby@live.co.uk

16th - 18th February 2018: Nidderdale Weekend

Details:

Weekend at the Westend Outdoor Centre in Nidderdale close to Yorkshire Dales. Local walk will be arranged for the Saturday and plan to head to Brimham Rocks on the Sunday.

Within the cost is two nights’ accommodation including breakfast and lunch each day and 1 evening meal. We will be heading to a local pub on the Saturday evening for dinner.

30th March - 2nd April 2018: Glencoe Easter Weekend

Details:

We’ll be staying at the Glencoe Independent Hostel, which is situated just off the A82 road (one of the most beautiful drives in the UK!) and just 30 minutes South of Fort William in the Scottish Highlands

Within the cost is three nights’ accommodation including breakfast and lunch each day and 2 evening meals. We will also be visiting the famous Clachaig Inn for a meal which is within walking distance.

 

Weather depending, the aim is to have a number of different walking options. The Glencoe area is stunning.

27th - 29th April 2018: Sedbergh Weekend

Details:

Staying at the Longrigg Centre in Sedbergh the weekend is in a very beautiful area with the Howgill Fells right on our doorstep. Walks will be arranged for both days in this stunning area. The Centre has a pool table and table football table. The centre is only 1 mile from the local village.

Within the cost is two nights’ accommodation including breakfast and lunch each day and 1 evening meal. We will be heading to a local pub on the Saturday evening for dinner.
