A nice gentle late start stroll through the countryside around Marple and Chadkirk. We will leave Marple train station and follow the canal for a while crossing the aquaduct with impressive views of the railway viaduct that runs alongside, Before heading off through Kirk Woods and onto Chadkirk Chapel and Chadkirk.

We then head back through Kirk woods via a different path and rejoin the canal and retrace our steps back along the canal unti we reach the aquaduct where we then dive under both the aquaduct and the viaduct with spectacular views of both.
