The Lakes Day 2: Castlerigg Stone Circle and Derwent Water

A walk up the old railway out of Keswick to Castlerigg Stone Circle, then back down to the lake and along the shore past Friar's Crag into Keswick.

We will be travelling up on the Friay night to Do Scafell Pike on the Saturday. Please feel free to join us for either or both waks.

All you need to do is to sort out your own transport and accommodation if you plan to stay for the weekend.

10:45: Meet at the walk start (Keswick Bus Station / Booths)

11:00 Walk starts.

Waypoints: Fitz Park, Cockermouth Keswick & Penrith Railway (disused), River Greta, Naddle Bridge, Castlerigg Stone Circle, High Nest, Castlerigg Farm, Watson's Park, Strandshag Bay, Friar's Crag, Crow Park.
