Whats the Poynt on Going through Lyme

Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Jonny Franklin.

Starting at Poynton the route passes Poynton lake over the Middlewood Way and Macclesfield Canal into Lyme Park. From here the route leads to Bowstones across to Sponds Hill and down to Pott Shrigley; from here fields take over to get to Adlington.

09:30: Meet at Manchester Piccadilly for the train at 09:46. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.

Off peak return to Strines £4.90

09:46: Train departs for the walk start at Poynton Station.

10:10: Walk starts at Poynton Station.

Return from Adlington (Cheshire) Rail Station. 16:14, 17:14, 18:14, 19:15
