The Waterways and Woods of Hebden

Public Transport based walk with Ken Banks.

7.5 mi

400m

A Circular walk from Hebden Bridge to enjoy the best of the Spring Colours and Bluebells. We begin by following the Rochdale Canal along towards Charlestown, before findng our way through a warren of little pathways, to the lovely Hippins Clough with its Bluebells and waterfalls. At Hippins we turn onto the Calder Way to Jack Bridge and the oddly named New Delight Inn. Then the path takes us up onto the open Moorland of Green Hill before we drop down again  to Hebden Vale and follow the river back down into Hebden and the pub.
