Public Transport based walk with Stephen Smith.
The shortest walk but also the hilliest, mile for mile.
We start in the most leisurely fashion possible with a walk along the canal, but then jump over the shoulder of the hill into the lower Luddenden Dean, and then, perfectly timed for those who have done all 3 stages and will be at the 26 mile mark by now, embark upon a long and steep climb up to the peak on Wadsworth Moor.
From there, it's downhill all the way, dropping down past the Golf course and quarry before the steep walk down to the rail station.
NB. Walk Leader meeting at walk start. If the incoming group is late, please hang on - we'll be there soon. There are no toilet facilities on the station.
