Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Al.
This a lovely walk on the edge of the Forest of Bowland (an area of outstanding national beauty). Classic Lancashire countryside, on the edge of Yorkshire. We use the special Dalesrail service to access this area and also do a linear walk (see note at bottom). Much of the walk is in the meadows of the River Ribble, we may also pop into the pub at Wigglesworth.
