Fancy doing the three Peaks of Yorkshire in a more relaxed manner that all in one day?

We start with the lowest of three, Pen-Y-Ghent, on a walk up from Horton in Ribblesdale, continuing along the ridge to Plover Hill and then descending back to Horton.

An early start is required to catch the Dalesrail service to Horton, or you can also take the option to drive there.

Meet & Travel arrangements - Public Transport

We’ll use public transport from Manchester to travel to and return from the walk start/end.

07:45: Meet at Manchester Piccadilly for the train at 07:58. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.

Suggested ticket:

07:58: Train departs for the walk start at Horton In Ribblesdale station.

10:50: Walk starts at Horton In Ribblesdale station.

If driving, postocde for meet point at Horton in Ribblesdale Station Car Park is BD24 0HH.

No toilets at station, use the ones on the train.

We will also being going past the Cafe in Horton in Ribblesdale soon after the walk start where there are also toilets.
