Public Transport based walk with Jonny Franklin.

Starting in Romiley the walk heads to Chadkirk Chapel and along the Peak Forest Canal over the Marple Aqueduct to Marple Locks. It then heads through Brabyn's Park to Compstall and through Etherow Country Park.  The route heads uphill along paths and tracks to Werneth Low with a descent down to Broadbottom. There is an extra climb up and over and along the River Etherow to Melandra Roman Fort and into Hadfield

09:20: Meet at Manchester Piccadilly for the train at 09:34. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.

09:34: Train departs for the walk start at Romiley.

10:00: Walk starts at Romiley.
