Sowerby Bridge

Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Angela Robinson.

5.0 mi

200m

This walk heads out of Sowerby Bridge, following old transport links before gradually climbing the valley sides and meandering through woodland. After walking around the hilltop township of Norland, we descend back into the town.

Back in Sowerby Bridge you may wish to sample some local ale at 'The Works' (food served until 5pm) and 'Jubilee Refreshment Rooms', which is conveniently situated a few metres from the platform for the train home.
