Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Ed Bray.
A short walk out of Prestwich takes us into a scentic mixture of woodland, grassland and heathland. Sections of this walk are on once coal-mining and industrial sites now redevoloped into nature-rich parkland. We'll be passing a couple of pieces from the Irwell Scultpure Trail on the way. A pub stop at the end of the walk for those wanting to stay for a drink.
