Middlewood to Bollington via the hilly route

Public Transport based walk with John Ireland.

You can go from Middlewood to Bollington via the Middlewood way.... and that would be nice but this is a different route taking in the Bow Stones and some of the Gritstone trail to get there in time for a pub quiz.

If you're not staying for the quiz, there is a bus back into Macclesfield, or you can walk along the Middlewood Way to get there for the train.
