An autumnal take on a classic walk over Arnside Knott, with a pub stop in Silverdale and a walk back along the beach via Park Point to Arnside. Options en route for gathering wild raspberries and the like.
Meet & Travel arrangements - Public Transport
We’ll use public transport from Manchester to travel to and return from the walk start/end.

10:00: Meet at Manchester Piccadilly for the train at 10:16. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.
Return to Arnside £17.80, taking the 10:16 from Manchester Piccadilly to Glasgow Central, changing at Preston for 11:18 to Arnside (train destination Barrow in Furness)
10:16: Train departs for the walk start at Arnside Station.
11:55: Walk starts at Arnside Station.
Return from Arnside Station. Trains from Arnside 16:08, 18:58
Waypoints: Arnside Knott, Arnside Tower, Pepperpot, Silverdale, Park Point, Arnside.
In case of inclement weather, the latter part of the route may be a less exposed route along the cliff tops and the woods around Park Point.
