Public Transport based walk with Andrew Forbes.
Walk leader to join the train at Stockport. Gaiters are recommended
This walk involves a mix of valleys, open farmland and woodland. The route has three or four climbs that are steep but they're well spaced apart so plenty of time to get your breath back.
Paths are likely to be good for most of the way but gaiters are recommended for two or three muddy & boggy sections.
There is going to be a small section of road walking without a pavement so care will need to be taken.
