Public Transport based walk with David Bratley.
Hopefully a snowy walk, the location gives stunning wild views and normally lots of mountain hares can be seen on route. It will be a great walk regardless of conditions. The walk will be on the tops for most of the day so warm clothing and drink are advisable, also if the weather contiunes in a similar vane, spare socks may be required for the fording of Shelf brook (this was great fun on the recce on the 2nd of Jan).
Assuming the Ice and snow hasn't finally arrived, the terrain will generally be vary wet and boggy, but this at least makes for soft landings.
Warm pub at the walk end.
Walk leader will meet at the walk start.
