Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Anthony Helm.
Walk leader will join the train at Blackrod. Please note the train from Manchester now departs from Victoria at 09:20 due to engineering works
A linear walk from Chorley to Blackrod, via Anglezarke and the Upper and Lower Rivington reservoirs. Taking in some picturesque woodland trails, a tea room and a pretend ruined castle. Gaiters are recommended as the paths are muddy in places, as is something to sit on for the lunch stop, as there isn't much seating.
