Alport Castles from Edale - a skip, a stride and a leap

Public Transport based walk with David Bratley.

15.9 mi

1245m

An exhilarating walk with a steep ascent from almost the start, to be followed later in the walk by more steep ascents and descents! A bit of bog trotting and some great views if the weather holds. We finish off with some off-path walking and negotiation of peat hags.
