Where did that bridge go?

Public Transport based walk with Steve Rawlins & Niall Maclennan.

16.0 mi

A linnear walk from Glossop to Edale.

Out of glossop we'll pick up the old Doctor's Gate path until we pick up the Pennine Way at the Snake Pass before heading down towards Kinder Scout, passing Kinder Reservoir and the glorious Kinder Downfall, a quick stop at the Summit point of Kinder Scout before heading through the Woolpacks, onto Crowdon Tower and following the ridge paths of Upper Tor and Nether Tor and zig zagging down the Nab into Edale.

Please note that due to time of year this walk will need to be completed at a reasonable pace and depending on the weather some sections can be quite exposed. Waterproofs/Gaitors may be required and please bring a head torch just incase.

There is a small stream crossing (used to be a bridge) before Doctor's gate passable with the help of a bit of rope and rocks.
