A circular walk in West Lancashire around Appley Bridge taking in a Fairy Glen, a Boar's Den, a ruined Windmill and some little hills.
Meet & Travel arrangements - Public Transport
We’ll use public transport from Manchester to travel to and return from the walk start/end.

10:15: Meet at Manchester Victoria for the train at 10:39. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.
Return to Appley Bridge £4.20
10:39: Train departs for the walk start at Appley Bridge Train Station.
11:30: Walk starts at Appley Bridge Train Station.
Return from Appley Bridge Train Station. 16:31, 17:31
Waypoints: Worthington's Farm, Fairy Glen, Boar's Den Farm, High Moor Lane, Wright's Coverts, Harrock Hill, Butteries Wood, High Moor, Parbold Hill, Wood Lane, Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
No toilets at station, use the ones on the train.
Drinks at the Station Bar at the end of the walk.
Also, dogs are not recommended due to livestock in some of the fields through which we will be passing.
