What is actually in Crowden?

Public Transport based walk with Niall MacLennan & Steve Rawlins.

17.8 mi

880m

A circular walk out of Hadfield up to Black Hill and back.  The walk will go up from the series of reservoirs around Hadfield and cover some boggy, exposed unpathed land on top before the descent back to Crowden.  Passing through Tintwhistle there should be the opportunity to stop at The Bullshead.

Please bear in mind that this walk will be completed at a fast pace due to the time of year and expected conditions.  Therefore it is not suitable for those seeking an afternoon bimble.  Gaiters and waterproofs strongly recommended.
