Public Transport based walk with Ken Banks.
Starting from Grindleford Station theres a steady accent up through the woods beside Burbage Brook onto Burbage Rocks. From here we follow the edge round onto Stanage edge with, (weather permitting) lovely views across the Hope valley and with a bit of luck lots of purple heather. We drop down from Crow chin and walk through the heather onto Bamford Edge before dropping down into the lovely village of Bamford and its pub the Anglers Rest. Then when your ready back the Bamford Station.
There will be a certain amount of wading through the heather so gaiters or waterproof trousers are recommended in case its been wet.
