North Cheshire Way

Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Jonny Franklin.

10.0 mi

Starting from Prestbury the route will head along the River Bollin and through the rolling fields to Legh Hall and onto Mottram Cross onto the North Cheshire Way to Hare Hill where we head through the grounds. Once through some country road walking is required to get to Highlees Woods. More rolling fields are crossed to reach Nether Alderley and its old mill before heading into Alderley where the route ends

I would bring over trousers as fields in Cheshire are normally muddy
