Crosses and Peel

Public Transport based walk with Arthur Embleton.

22.5 mi

893m

For those who want a longer walk this weekend - this walk will take in Turton moor and Peel tower.  There are good paths and if the weather is good, great views.

Bring plenty of water.  There is a pub stop half way around which should be able to provide us with a top up.  There is also Entwistle railway station here too so it is possible to drop out if need be.

Bring enough food for two lunches as it will be a long day.

Walk leader will meet at the start of the walk
