Walk Leader joining train at Stockport

An evening walk around that unexpected centre of the Cheshire Coal Industry - Poynton!

Starting off by walking down the Middlewood way, we follow the track of an old colliery railway and then go round Poynton Lake and follow one of the newest footpaths in the area, before heading back to Hazel Grove for a pint at the Rising Sun.
