Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Angela Robinson.
Making use of the recently introduced direct train service from Manchester to Burnley, this walk will follow various parts of the Burnley Way long distance route including woodland and moorland areas. Most of the walk is along good paths or tracks, including some canal walking. We'll visit two parks, including Towneley Park with it's grand Hall. We have a couple of pubstop options and icecream opportunites!
