Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Stephen Jones and James Brett.
Heading away from the station we quickly climb the main ascent of the day to the North West corner of Castle Naze, a promontory hill fort dating from the Iron Age. We then circumnavigate Combs Moss across largely flat terrain hopefully taking in views across the Combs Valley and up to Kinder Scout, Rushop and Hucklow Edges, before returning back to Chapel-en-le Frith Station.
The walk is mainly across exposed moorland so please come prepared for all weathers
**** Please note that Dogs are NOT permitted on this walk due to Access Land Restrictions on the Moss ****
