The second part starting east of Hebden bridge before coming up to the Pennine Way and down to Todmorden. Less ascent than the first part and a gentler pace.
Meet & Travel arrangements - Public Transport
We’ll use public transport from Manchester to travel to and return from the walk start/end.
Itinerary is below - click station links for map and further information.
13:15: Meet at Manchester Victoria for the train at 13:26. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.
Return to Mytholmroyd £10. (or you can save a whole 50p by doing both parts and getting a return to Hebden Bridge for £9.50!)
13:26: Train departs for the walk start at Mytholmroyd Station.
14:15: Walk starts at Mytholmroyd Station.
Return from Todmorden Station. Frequent aiming for 19:15
Waypoints: Luddenden; Cragg Vale; Spring Wood; Stoodley Pike; Gaddings Dam; Todmorden
Walk leader meeting at start: part 2 of the walk so if the leader isn't there hang on a bit before you go home!
Although easier than part 1 there's stil a lot of ascent, mostly in short, sharp bursts.
