The Aircraft Wrecks Marathon

Public Transport based walk with David Bratley.

26.0 mi

1700m

Well folks, this walk has a little of everything for everyone, it's not too long only 26 miles, roughly 1600m of Ascent, it takes in the natural beauty, widllife and cultural Heritage of the Peakland, you get great views over most of the Dark Peak and get to visit not quite 27 Aircraft Wrecks! :).

As to the route, most of this is on what a hill walker would call good paths, there is only one section of very steep downhill, which involves clambering down a couple of 1m high rock outcrops, and there will probably be a little bog, well why not.

Oh and as always a well deserved drink at the end of day.
