Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Ken Banks.
Return of an old favourite to enjoy the beginning of spring. This is a low level walk with the accent spread throughout the walk. This walk takes in a mixture of back lanes, bridleways and footpaths, through woodland and around resevoirs. We follow Pingots Lane out of Broadbottom up to Warhill, hop the A57, skirt Hollingworth round to Arnfield, through Tintwistle, sweep round Bottoms and then up and over the hill to Old Glossop via Little Padfield. There maybe a beer stop in Tintwistle at the Bulls Head and there is the Star Inn back in Glossop for those that would like to hang around for some socialising afterwards.
