Public Transport based walk with John Ireland.
Please note rescheduled date...
A walk north from Carnforth around the southern part of the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, taking in Jenny Brown's Point where we stop for lunch and then heading over to Warton Crags before descending to Carnforth for a quick drink at a bar on the Station, which was the location of David Lean's and Noel Coward's film 'Brief Encounter'.
An easy walk over a medium distance with a few little hills, a bit along the coast and lots of low lying limestone landscape.
