A walk up from Hartsop Village up to Angle tarn - this walk is suitable for new members, however they MUST have boots and be aware that the ascent is not insignificant and a good level of fitness is expected.

This is a walk with direct transport arrangements, meeting at the walk start.

10:15: Meet at the walk start (Hartsop Village Car Park)

10:30 Walk starts.

Waypoints: Hayeswater Gill, Below the Knott, Satura Crag, Angle Tarn, Angletarn Pikes, Boredale House, Dubhow, back to Hartsop

Directions:

Recommended Motorway Junctions is M6 J40 - take the A66 towards Keswick then the A592 is 1st exit on the 1st roundabout you come to. Drive south along the A592, past Glenridding and Patterdale. Hartsop Village is on the left just before Brothers Water and the ascent up the Kirkstone Pass.

Go through the village to the end and there is a car park there. Minimal parking so please try and car share. We have 1 space available for pickup from Sale or Altrincham. If you are unable to park in the car park then you will have to find parking nearby and walk into Hartsop.
