Public Transport based walk with Sarah Peppiatt.
2.5 miles of almost continuous off-path, miles of rough wet paths, several steep ascents and descents & some awkward stiles/bridges - your legs will certainly know about it by the end! The views and the variety of the landscape will make up for it though (weather permitting!).

This is a hard walk over rough and exposed terrain with no easy bailout points. Please be sure you're capable of completing the whole walk at a reasonable pace before coming on it.
You will need water and food for the whole day and appropriate equipment: including proper walking boots & waterproofs (even if the weather is supposed to be good).
Very soggy in places: gaiters etc will be useful. Dry socks may not go amiss either depending how soggy the conditions are.
