Please note revised meet time for the train at Piccadilly.

There is a rail replacement bus service between New Mills and Buxton which will increase the journey time from 1 hour to 1.5 hours. Alternatively you could drive; there is some street parking available, for example on Palace Road or Marlborough Road. The walk leader will meet you at the train station.

A walk from Buxton town centre across stunning moorland to two resevoirs that serve Stockport and surrounding areas. The walk will cover some muddy and boggy bits so gaiters may be useful.
