Public Transport based walk with Andy Buckley.
A re-run of one of my favourite walks starting from Hebden Bridge we proceed along the canal for a while before we start a climb up into Jumble Hole Clough visiting the ruins of Staups Mill through some steep, rough narrow paths. From here we continue our climb to Blackshaw Head and Heptonstall Moor where we follow the Pennine Way and Bridleway back to Jack Bridge for a pub stop at The New Delight Inn. Don’t drink too much here because we have to from here proceed over the crags which overlook Eaves Wood just before entering the beautiful village of Heptonstall with it’s church ruins standing in the current church grounds before proceeding back to Hebden Bridge for another pub stop.
