Public Transport based walk with John Ireland.
A circular walk in the West Pennines to the north of Bolton, taking in many reservoirs, a quick drink at a duck-related pub then up onto Cheetham Close in search of a Stone Circle, before skirting round the edge of Egerton to go to the Flag pub before getting the train home.

We’ll use public transport from Manchester to travel to and return from the walk start/end.

09:45: Meet at Manchester Victoria for the train at 10:03. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.
Return to Bromley Cross £4.30
10:03: Train departs for the walk start at Bromley Cross Station.
10:35: Walk starts at Bromley Cross Station.
Return from Bromley Cross Station. 16:28, 17:28 etc.
Waypoints: Rotary Way, Jumbles Country Park, Turton Bottoms, Chapeltown, Wayoh Reservoir, Turton and Entwistle Reservoir, Cheetham Close, Cox Green, Bromley Cross
No toilets at station, use the ones on the train.
Pub stop at the Strawbury Duck. Lunch stop at Turton and Entwistle Reservoir.
