Public Transport based walk with Angela Robinson.
The third of three walks taking us in a circuit around the Calderdale area. Includes parts of the Pennine Way and the Pennine Bridleway.
After climbing out of Hebden Bridge, we head to Stoodley Pike monument. Crossing the moors we then reach Gaddings Dam, a favourite with local swimmers in summer. Descending back into the valley past Walsden, we then have the final climb of the day. After walking along the bridleway on the hilltop, over the Summit railway tunnel, we join the Rochdale canal which takes us back to Littleborough.
*Walk leader meeting at walk start*
