Meet & Travel arrangements - Car Sharing
For car share walks, we meet at a convenient Manchester location and drive to the walk start using as few cars as possible. This keeps fuel costs and emissions down. Passengers please remember to contribute towards fuel costs at the end of the day.

08:30: Meet at Charles Street multi-storey car park for lift share organising.
08:40: Cars will leave for the walk start (Sadgill, Longsleddale).
10:00: Walk starts at Sadgill, Longsleddale.
If you are driving, please make every effort to attend the Charles Street multi-storey car park meet point as some people may depend on a lift to get to the walk start. For further information, email firstname.lastname@example.org, especially if you intend to drive there directly.

The weather forecast is cold and showery - please bring warm clothing, waterproofs and extra food!
Some parts of the walk are off path or likely to be boggy - boots and gaiters would be advisable
We should finish in the daylight, but please bring a torch anyway and check the batteries.
Easy bail outs are available straight down from the head of Longsleddale valley on a vehicle track.
