Clocks change next week so a nice hard walk through some stunning limestone scenery to make the most of the daylight!
Meet & Travel arrangements - Public Transport
We’ll use public transport from Manchester to travel to and return from the walk start/end.

07:40: Meet at Manchester Piccadilly for the train at 07:49. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.
Wayfarer (£11): buy in advance from paypoint/manned stations
07:49: Train departs for the walk start at Edale Station.
08:35: Walk starts at Edale Station.
Return from Buxton Train Station. X:24 aiming for 18:24
Waypoints: Hollins Cross; Cave Dale; Dam Dale; Peter Dale; Hay Dale; Monks Dale; Chee Dale; Chelmorton; Buxton
This is a hard walk and needs to be done briskly. There are no bail out points. Some of the dales are very rough underfoot and slippery especially if it's been wet. you must have proper walking boots with you and be able to keep up.
The ascent comes in lots of short steep bursts, including some towards the end of the walk.
