Direct Transport based walk with Katherine Hamlett & Stu Edwards.
Join us for an autumnal circular walk starting from Fairholmes Visitor Centre in the heart of the beautiful Peak District. From our base by the reservoir we climb steadily up to the stunning rock feature of Alport Castles, taking in some breathtaking scenery across Rowlee Pasture. We then follow the valley contour before ascending once more to capitalise on the fabulous views from Blackley Hey. Woodland and waterways vary the route as our final efforts for the day are rewarded with an eye-catching descent back towards Ladybower Reservoir and the comforts of the cafe...
