Public Transport based walk with Ken Banks.
A longer linear evening walk from Marple to Broadbottom. Initially following the Midshires way before crossing the River Etherow and climbing up and over to Higher Chisworth before dropping down again to Broadbottom and the Harewood arms for those that would like a post walk pint before going home. The walk covers a mixture of woodland and open fields with (weather permitting) wonderful views over Manchester and up to Coombes Edge. Due to the recent wobble in the weather there maybe be mud in places so please wear appropriate footwear.
Additionally please bring a torch as it may be getting dark before we reach Broadbottom if its overcast.
