Stanage Edge from Hathersage

Public Transport based walk with Peter Turner and Simon Bradshaw.

10.0 mi

A varied train based circular walk from Hathersage up to the long gritstone escarpment of Stanage Edge, offering stunning views of the Peak District and surrounding countryside. We will follow the Edge for close to 3 miles before stopping for ice creams. The route back takes in Higger Tor and the church that claims to be the final resting place of Little John. Following the walk there is a choice of tea shops and pubs in Hathersage.
