Greenfield to Hadfield, until I think of a better name.

A walk out of the village of Greenfield, onto the hills above and down via a trio of reservoirs to the village of Hadfield.  If the weather is with us the views from Laddow Rocks are stunning.  Time and weather dependent we could have a stop off at the Bulls Head in Tintwhistle.  Please be prepared for rain and gaiters for the top boggy section are reccommended if wet.

Meet & Travel arrangements - Public Transport

We’ll use public transport from Manchester to travel to and return from the walk start/end.
Itinerary is below - click station links for map and further information.

09:50: Meet at Manchester Piccadilly for the train at 10:11. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.

Suggested ticket:

GM Rail Ranger £5.00 from any Greater Manchester rail station.  Please note there will be a train change at Stalybridge

10:11: Train departs for the walk start at Greenfield Station.

11:00: Walk starts at Greenfield Station.

Return from Hadfield Station. 17:30, 18:00, 18:30. Last train 22:30
