Public Transport based walk with Andy Buckley.
A linear walk from Marple to Glossop with a variety of terrain including canals, tracks, fields and rough paths over undulating ground with fantastic views from Mellor Church and Coombes Rocks. Pub stop approximately half way through the walk in the beautiful and secluded village of Rowarth at the idyllic Little Mill Inn (with its own water wheel and railway carriage!) from here we carry on with the climb up to Coombes Rocks and then we start the descent into Glossop, where there is another opportunity to visit a few establishments before the train home.
