Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with John Ireland.
A longer easy walk starting and finishing in Lancaster, going along the Lancashire Coastal Way to Morecambe for the delights of the Midland Hotel, the Prom and a meeting with Eric Morecambe himself - then a walk back along the canal into Lancaster crossing over River Lune via a marvel of the Canal Age.

08:45: Meet at Manchester Piccadilly for the train at 09:16. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.

09:16: Train departs for the walk start at Lancaster Station.
10:20: Walk starts at Lancaster Station.
