Public Transport based walk with Angela Robinson.
* Walk leader meeting on train at Todmorden *
The second of 3 walks taking us in a circuit around the Calderdale area.
We leave from Sowerby Bridge along the canal. We then head up hill and over to Luddenden, a pretty village which includes the pub where Bramwell Bronte once drank. After wandering through the nature reserve at Luddenden Brook, we have the main climb of the day up onto Midgley Moor which may give us a panorma of West Yorkshire and the Pennines.
We then take the Calderdale Way to Pecket Well, where the Tour De France will pass in July. The final stretch takes us down past waterfalls and onto the riverside path to Hebden Bridge.
