Car based walk with Pete Dolan.
A challenging circular hike starting from Abergwyngregyn, North Snowdonia. Starting at near sea level we climb along rocky ledges and screes towards Aber Falls, then the hard work begins with a climb over unpathed territory to the submit of Llwytmor (849m) and Foel-fras (942m). From Foel-fras the route is easier as we descend northeasterly along the ridge towards Drum and Carnedd Y Ddelw where we pick up a track back to Abergwyngregyn. If the weather is clear there will be good views across the Menai Straits to Anglesey. This is a very exposed walk, if the weather is bad there is little shelter, so please come well prepared.
