Public Transport based walk with Andrew Forbes.
A 16 mile walk involving quite a bit of ascent and descent over the course of the route; some of it quite steep. It involves a mix of valleys, open farmland, clear & unclear paths, rocky bridleways, wooded areas and part of the Monsal Trail disused railway line; including two of the tunnels that are on the trail. PLEASE NOTE A few sections were very muddy and water logged during reccies so waterproofs and gaiters are essential and short sections of road walking will be required to avoid the worst of the sections. Please make sure you have enough food and fluids to last the day and bring a torch just in case
