Public Transport based walk with Sarah Peppiatt.
A fairly long walk over the remarkably deserted moorland lying between Todmorden and Whitworth, visiting two trigs and lots of ups and downs

No easy bailouts on this walk, so please be sure you can do the full distance at a reasonable pace.
For the same reason please make sure you have plenty of food and drink on you and appropriate clothing for the weather. Unless it's still frozen (or in drought!) gaiters would be an advantage.
If you're intending to drive park at Littleborough and get on the 08:42 train (£3.60 ticket to Todmorden).
Leader will join either at Rochdale or Todmorden.
