Meet & Travel arrangements - Public Transport
We’ll use public transport from Manchester to travel to and return from the walk start/end.

10:00: Meet at Manchester Piccadilly for the train at 10:18. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.
GM Rail Ranger £5 (also includes journey into Manchester if travelling by train from within GMPTE/TFGM boundary). For Tram users, the Train & Tram System 1 Daysaver at £7.90 is most suitable.
10:18: Train departs for the walk start at Godley Station.
10:40: Walk starts at Godley Station.
Return from Marple Station. 16:04, 18:04

Pub in Marple Bridge, Buses also available to Stockport for further transport options from Marple.
If travelling from Glossop the 10.09 will get you to Godley for 10.21. The GM Rail Ranger covers this option as well, though you will have to travel via Manchester to get home.
