Public Transport based walk with Andy Buckley.
A circular walk starting from Marple station we go along a section of the Peak Forest Canal traversing the aquaduct where we then head off down through Kirk Wood arriving at the beautiful little chapel at Chadkirk followed by a stroll along a country lane before entering Kirk Wood again which leads us back to the canal where we retrace our tracks until we reach the aquaduct where we then head off under the aquaduct and viaduct through the local coutryside heading towards Etherow Country Park where we will do a circuit of the lake before heading back to the station through Brabyns Park.
